At eight weeks old, this little guy was a new challenge for us. He wasn’t as sleepy as the typical newborns Holly and I photograph, but we loved all the poses and expressions we got from him. Mom and Dad seem pleased, too.

Olivia and her brother were just 9 days old for their photo shoot. They were a such delight to photograph…sleepy and cooperative. I hope for mom and dad’s sake they keep the cooperative trait as they grow older!

Although I have no aspirations of becoming a wedding photographer, I couldn’t resist taking pictures of my niece, Sara, and her fiance, Tom, at their engagement party in Huntington Beach, CA yesterday. They’re a darling couple, and I wish they lived closer. They love living in Chicago, but the family is hoping they’ll be tempted to move back to California some day.
