I really enjoy when I get to mix it up a bit, and baby Shriya’s mom asked just for that. She loves bright colors, and we didn’t hold back for this newborn session.

I got a little carried away choosing images for this post, but then this little guy is pretty special to me. This is my great nephew, and I flew from Los Angeles to Chicago to photograph him. I spent two days taking his pictures because I just couldn’t get enough of this little love, and I so enjoyed visiting with my niece and her husband.

Sometimes parents have strong interests and like to incorporate it into their baby’s photo session. I bet you can guess how this family enjoys their time. William, I have no doubt you’ll get the baseball bug, too!

One of the reasons I found baby Walter fun to photograph was because his parents were so relaxed. Most 1st time parents are a bit anxious and thus the baby tends to pick up on it. Not with these parents or this little guy…mellow all the way.
